Everything about this build was so nice. The instructions were all printed and designed well, everything was clear, and there was free plate foam which I love.

There's been a long wait for this one, but it was so worth it. I feel like this board will always have an asterisk next to it - it was a victim of its own success, and the creator offering way too many options. As far as I can tell, it was wildly popular, which meant that they needed to do everything at a much larger scale than they were anticipating. There's been a lot of irritated people in the Discord for this, and I do get it, but I never felt like I'd just binned my money and was never going to get anything for it. So much stuff in keyboards requires incredibly long waiting times that you just kinda get used to it. I do understand people being annoyed but with the amount of work that needed to be done to get this out, I think a bit of perspective was needed.

The build itself was so seamless - good quality PCB, case materials, assembly, tolerances were all perfect. I literally only had one problem and that was that the flashed firmware wasn't compatible with the layout I chose and I couldn't tell if I had a problem with the PCB or a switch or firmware. Luckily it turned out to be firmware so overall no real problems.

I've wanted to use these LTs on something for a while. I love that thocky sound, but it's always been quite hard to replicate on standard linears. I tried to achieve it lubing Gateron Black Inks but it wasn't the same. If you're interested, here's a sound test (sorry for the colour in this video - I cannot figure out how to grade video on my Canon in a way that I actually like, then I get bored and just upload it).
