Can I justify an industrial mixer?

They provided a lot of alcohol, which was a surprise

Charlotte got me this little one-shot evening class as a gift and it was fun!
My expectations were a shade more on the educational side but the tone of the room was definitely more of a party. I still got some good advice on forming dough balls and the general kneading and proving process.
My biggest takeaway honestly (aside from the pizza and dough) is that you need to figure out a method that works for you, and that you're happy with, and then refine that yourself. I'll be able to try the advice I picked up from this course and see whether it improves things or not. My biggest thing is consistency/repeatability at the moment and I have some good tips to try on that.
There's no way they're making a lot of profit on these courses. The amount of stuff they included: a pizza voucher, a tonne of alcohol (of which I had none because I am a good boy!), dough, and pizza, was crazy. It's definitely more party than educational but was still easily worth the price of admission.
