One of Tabitha's friends recommended the Narnia Chronicles. I don't know anything about Narnia Chronicles but I'm all about broadening my horizons.
We just finished The Magician's Nephew (we're reading the internal chronological order, not the published order do not @me) and I am captivated. I'm thinking about this book all day. We start reading bedtime stories at 5pm because I want this book in my life.
I realise I could read after Tabitha has gone to bed but, as I've mentioned before, I am not a monster

Chris Glass has written an incredibly beautiful and touching tribute to his mother on his blog, which I would encourage you to read. And whilst you're doing things that I'm encouraging you to, go and look at the rest of the photos on his website. He's an amazing photographer.

I think the new iPad Pro might be my favourite computer ever. Previous holders of this accolade have been the MacBook Air, iPhone 3G, iPhone X, and the 2017 MacBook Pro.
The iPad has always been my Best Computer For People Who Don't Do Computers, but the 2018 iPad Pro is just my favourite. Beautiful screen, new Apple Pencil is amazing and doesn't have that stupid dorky charging, new keyboard is nice and clicky and has two viewing angles, and the OS is great, and always improving, and it has USB type-C.
If you're a USB type-C convert like I am, then you will know that anything that lacks USB type-C is a completely pointless waste of your time.

Not saying that my daughter is the sweetest girl who ever lived, but this morning the dog was crying and woke her up so she got up and let him into her room so he wasn't on his own any more.
A fly flew into my eye I'm not crying shut up.

I'm having one of those days where everything seems pointless and I just want to quit and do nothing but sulk. Is that an option? Can I just abandon my life for a week to wallow and sulk? I feel like that should be allowed.

I watched a few episodes of Bojack Horseman when it first aired and I just did not get it. Then Tabitha went to school and Charlotte binged it and then insisted I watch it.
I still found it a bit of a chore because it's just wave after wave of impulsive, self-destructive behaviour, but there's an arc in series 4 involving Bojack's mother and some other members of his family (trying to avoid overt spoilers) that finally tipped me over. It previously felt gratuitously heavy, but when all the foreshadowing converged it really tugged at my heart-strings.
Every time I think a character in this show is growing or making progress, they sabotage themselves and end up worse than they started off. I can't bring myself to admit how realistic that is.
