I barely have time to do anything at the moment. I have twenty days to do almost everything in the world, and with each passing day, my todo list gets longer instead of shorter. One way or another, though, things will turn out, as they have a habit of doing. Either people will be happy with me in the new year for a little while or they won't.
Tabitha is getting more and more fun every day. She's pictured above with "Pliglett", who mysteriously found his way into my bag today. She was quite pleased to be reunited with him.
Our neighbours have started putting up Christmas lights so, for the last few nights, we've gone for a walk to look at them all. Lots of "woooow"s and "pretty"s. She, unlike her father, likes to run. One thing she especially likes is for me to run whilst carrying her. She, like her father, is not as light as she used to be.
I've come full circle on my camera-carrying, and I'm back to a DSLR. The only thing they lack is portability, but when you're carrying a bag it doesn't make much difference anyway. This photo was taken with the addition of a softbox. Since it's basically always dark now, I wanted something to give a nice, natural-looking flash. I think this does that, but now I need to read Strobist again to remember how to actually use the damned things.
