Self Control Level: Advanced

There's been a picture floating round the web recently of a fucking amazing dog doing a really intense version of a trick we've been teaching Sudo for a long time. Personally, I think a lot of tricks that people teach their dogs are a bit pointless (roll over? Seriously?), but having a dog that will wait, and resist eating something at your command is very useful. Especially if, whilst cooking, you drop something that might be harmful to them.

Since I saw that picture, I've been beefing up Sudo's ability to do this trick. He's incredibly receptive to new commands, and he's learning this one very well, too. I'm not sure how to approach the mouth biscuits, but he's making excellent progress with everything else. Having him keep his head still was an obstacle I didn't anticipate, but he seems to understand that when I say "wait", I want him to keep perfectly still, rather than just sit quite still.

Seriously fucking love this dog so, so much.
