Malayalam, Eastbourne

It's not often that a restaurant is so good that I'll make a specific post about it but there y'go. We went to Malayalam on a recommendation from someone who lives nowhere near Eastbourne. That's usually a pretty good sign.

We love Indian food, and we eat it quite frequently, but this is easily one of the best Indian places we've ever been to. The food is so fresh and tasty, the rice and lentil doughnuts had the most amazing texture and went incredibly well with the dips. I've never had anything like the battered eggs before. The texture of the whites was almost meaty. My spinach and paneer curry with paratha and ghee rice was incredible. We genuinely hadn't even finished eating and we were already making plans to come back.
