How my day starts, and how it ends

Sudo is very old. He can't make it through the night sometimes, so I've started getting up with the sun to let him out, then sitting on the sofa and reading or snoozing with him until a more reasonable hour.
In the evening he sits on the sofa until everyone has been pushed to the floor. I'm currently sleeping 6 hours a night so I don't have to mop up dog wee every morning.
Going to miss this lovely, silly dog when he's gone.
