Found a nice light trap and Charlotte asked me to take her picture. I was surprised too!

Loved these two leaning against the wall. Among all the people with suitcases of changes of clothes, the simplicity of them enjoying the view was very sweet.

Wasn't sure if this would work but I ended up really liking it.

In an attempt to pull myself out of my creative funk, a low effort change of scenery was in order. I've used my car too much this month already. Felt really good to get out.

We went to the Towner gallery in Eastbourne and they had some lovely work on show. I was particularly taken by Eric Ravilious' work, but I also loved the wood block prints and the photography. Made me want to get out with my Intrepid but film is so expensive!

I enjoyed taking these pictures a lot. I feel like I spend a lot of time wishing I took more pictures in the street but I always end up unsatisfied with that stuff. I think I need to spend more time looking for slower stuff and approaching things in a more painterly way. I'm not explaining that well but it makes sense to me.

It's been a weird week for new music. Skrillex has a new record out for the first time in years.... More trains!
