Bluebell Railway

When I was a kid I loved steam trains. I think that's a fairly common thing. I've wanted to visit this railway for ages.

I love how they all dress up in old-timey uniforms and there's a mixture of old and new technology. They have a beautiful ticket booth which is all original and has a card machine sitting there.

Everything is so well maintained - the trains look amazing and the carriages are decorated very tastefully. The whole place is full of lovely mechanical sounds and smells.

I read that the Flying Scotsman occasionally comes - I'd love to see that. Was a fan of that train as a kid.
