I sorta think this is what would happen if I read the books too. First couple are new to me. Strong, silent type with a good moral compass. Kicks ass, and is nice to dogs. Love it. But this isn't fertile ground for storytelling, and it's much more obvious on TV.

Oh there's a bigger guy and the whole thing hinges on the fact that the villain has amnesia? What year is it?! They're going to have a challenge finding an even bigger guy for season 4, but I just don't care any more. And I am an Alan Ritchson stan. Are we still saying stan?
