Dogs Doing Things Dogs Do

30/04/2011

Continuing my apparent "dogs doing things dogs do" series from this week (in which I only take photos of Sudo doing various things), here's a photo of him having recently finished eating his food, testing me to see if I remember as much. Unfortunately for him, being the one who fed him, I do remember. He is, therefore, doomed to wander our halls until someone forgets, or it's time for him to eat again. Must be pretty terrible being a dog.

This is a 5:4 crop. My first conscious 5:4 crop. Having read up on the differences between Nikon's D3 and D700, the thing that seems to be most missed is a built-in 5:4 crop mode. Being the grass-is-greener individual that I am, I really like the way this makes photos with a definite subject look, so it's probably going to happen quite a lot. Luckily, Aperture has a built-in 5:4 aspect ratio in the crop tool. Would still be nice to be able to compose with it, though.
