One of my vegetarian food pet hates is The Big Mushroom. That, coupled with goat's cheese and red onion tart constitute roughly 80%1 of vegetarian food at restaurants, and all vegetarians are sick of it. That's why, when I find the opportunity to try something new, I try to seize it.
Mario keeps posting about burgers, and it's been driving me crazy. I had to be in London for a meeting today, so I used it as an excuse to go to Mildred's for the first time and it lived up to the hype. The food was unbelievable and I'll definitely go again. I cannot stop thinking about this burger.
Next stop (in London), the FGV from Veg Bar, with a pit stop at Coggings & Co in Brighton for the Black bean, sweetcorn and chipotle.
