Sprung

This is so lazy but I feel like I've done pretty well this week. I always knew a daffodil photo was coming, though in my head I would do something better with it. Daffodils are like seasonal punctuation. They're a good symbol for spring being close and, as such they're a good optimism marker. For me, they're an indicator that I've somehow got the car sorted, done a full day of work, done couch to 5k, and played 2 hours of badminton with teenagers when I was planning to sit and read for those two hours, so I need to use a photo I just snapped earlier. They're a get-out-of-jail-free card, and tonight I'm roaming the streets.

A lot of people (relatively speaking) replied to my post yesterday, and it makes me think we need a Discord or something where agency folks can get together and sound off about things that happen and make them grumpy in ways that no-one else gets. A tech support group, if you will.

I realise that "developer who likes taking photos" is such a cliché at this point, but it's not a surprise to me that we need a convenient creative outlet and I think there's a shared value that we can all benefit from in keeping in touch with each other.

Anyway yesterday really did help me reset, even if I didn't have time to do anything with it today.
