I consider it a net gain if I'm at a party and I get to talk about my favourite things: programming, tattoos, vegetarianism, cameras. This is why I a) don't get invited to many parties and b) don't get talked to by many people at the ones I do get invited to!

Serious, though, everyone wants to talk to me. I'm the warm, hive-centre of a party.
