Mario Kart 8 Wave 4 Tracks
11/03/2023

I haven't played Mario Kart for ages. Pretty much since I got the Steam Deck, I think.
I was so unimpressed with Wave 1 and 2 that I didn't even realise 3 was out, and wasn't going to bother with 4. That was until I heard that Birdo was coming, and there was going to be a new Yoshi's Island track. I absolutely love Yoshi's Island and the new track is instantly one of my favourites in Mario Kart 8.
So far my favourite tracks from the DLCs are:
- Sky High Sundae
- Boo Lake
- Peach Gardens
- 3DS Rainbow Road
- Yoshi's Island
- Waluigi Stadium
And I hate all the World Tour ones. That game is a blemish on Mario Kart's series.
The Switch feels so small after months of using the Steam Deck. I think I prefer it. I definitely think the controller layout on Steam Deck is better but the ergonomics of the Switch feel more comfortable to me. I'm quite surprised my Switch even still works - it's a launch day one, so over 6 years old now.
