I've wanted a macropad for ages, and the timing was right on this one so I've gone for it! Screen; check, rotary; check, stacked acrylic; check. It also has LEDs and a piezo buzzer! Looking forward to annoying the entire world with that one.
Went for a nice walk today. It was pretty cold but it's nice for clearing your head. I miss taking pictures.
Lots of pictures of me on my phone the last couple of weeks. I think I might finally be going insane.
There's a time and a place for ROMs. With original hardware and software getting more and more expensive, they're the only reasonable option for most people. But part of the fun for me is in messing about with stuff!
It's become something of an obsession: trying to make my desk cool. I grabbed my monitor and chair from the office about six months too late and now it's such a good space
We took Tabitha to the pump track at Newhaven skatepark. It's super nice; seems to be very well looked-after. It took her a little while to get going, but then once she got it, she didn't want to leave. I'd love to come back and have a go with a BMX there - it's not a place for a road bike.
I feel really bad for Tabitha that we haven't been doing Fun Kid Stuff. This morning we went for a walk (it was freezing) to a good park and she slid and climbed and swung and monkey-bars'd
Charlotte set up some desk space again. Sitting at the dining table became problematic months ago.
In my opinion, LEGO have done a really poor job of communicating what this actually is. Maybe I've just conveniently missed the message in everything I've read, but even so, if I've managed to entirely miss it, others probably did too.
I just don't have the time or motivation to try and make some sort of nice photo post with some structure or theme, but I do still take photos I'd like to share.
We've got squirrels in the garden at the moment. I'm not sure what's up with them but a couple of the younger ones have almost no fur on their tails.
Walked the dog again this morning, but brought my camera because last time there was tonnes of wildlife around
Beto wanted some photos of a hand opening for use in a design. They're super simple but I really like how they look.
Charlotte's growing some seeds in our bedroom window, and one of her courgettes got a seed casing stuck on its leaves. I was hoping it would make a cool timelapse and I was not disappointed.
